Recognizing donors is a big part of what we do for a living, but now it’s time to recognize ourselves. Join us in this presentation of 2021’s International Stewardship Awards for outstanding work in donor relations and stewardship. Our esteemed ISA committee has chosen winners in four categories – stellar entries from around the world, across industries, from small shops and large operations. After hearing the back stories on the top entry from each category, we will cast our votes LIVE for the most popular “People’s Choice” award.

 Kim Johnson
Director of Stewardship
Children's Health Dallas, TX
Kim recently joined Children’s Health in Dallas as the Director of Stewardship. As a leader of strategic stewardship programs, Kim has a strong background in CRM and data analytics and pairs that with two decades of experience in donor relations with a focus on the healthcare industry. She loves deepening donor affinity, increasing retention, and finding ways to illustrate connection between donor intent and the larger mission. Kim enjoys working on capital and comprehensive campaigns and engaging with all donor types at every giving level. She serves in various volunteer roles for the Association of Donor Relations Professionals and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington. In her free time, Kim loves reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their four children. She is also an avid book collector and is slowly, but surely, taking over all the rooms in their home and converting them into libraries.

 Dena Scott
Assistant Director, Annual Giving
Utah Valley University
Dena Scott is the Assistant Director of Annual Giving at Utah Valley University. She joined the Annual Giving Team at UVU in 2021 after a 14-year career with the American Cancer Society. Dena is a donor relations guru with extensive expertise in annual giving, distinguished events, project management, creative design, major gifts, legacy giving, and corporate relations. She has been a key player in many capital campaigns supporting lodging, community resources, and programs focusing on health equity and diversity. Dena is an active member and volunteer with the Association of Donor Relations Professionals as well as a variety of community-based volunteer roles. In her free time, Dena loves to explore Utah, take girls trips with her best friend, spend time with her husband and 3 daughters, and hang out with their beloved Corgi, Prince Henry.
